In this rainy season, you might experience some water leaking from your sunroof. There are various reasons why this could happen. Most commonly it could be a clogged drain or perhaps a worn seal.

The main thing to remember when maintaining your sunroof is to keep any debris out from the train such as leaves, twigs and other dirt. A simple thing as a leaf can clog a drain tube and cause a leak. Mold and mildew can also form in your vehicle if the leak is not taken care of.

If the problem still persists, there is a chance you might have a worn seal. You might want to get it checked if that happens. At Juzz Performance, we are always happy to diagnose and solve your problems :) Feel free to contact for enquiries.

Our technician Hou troubleshooting a BMW 640 cabriolet that had water leaking into the car while it was parked outdoors during a heavy rain. The most common causes for water leaks in cabriolets are mainly drain blockages.

When water lands on your cabriolet, its directed through the drain and out to the roads. Unfortunately, these drains can become blocked by debris such as leaves and twigs if they are not cleared regularly. Other causes can also include:

1) Aging seals
2) Torn or damaged door membranes
3) Old and aged fabric hoods

The most reliable way to care for your vehicle’s folding roof system is to have it regularly serviced. This will ensure that your vehicle’s seals and mechanical components are in good working order.

At Juzz Performance, we are always happy to diagnose and solve your problems

Engine mountings are responsible for for securing the engine to the vehicle chassis. As the engine generates a considerable amount of vibration during your drive, the engine mount absorbs the vibration and you experience a smooth drive.

Here are some symtoms to look out for when your engine mounts are wearing off:

1) Clunking noises coming from the engine bay
2) Excessive vibrations
3) Misaligned Engine

Here we found that the engine mounts in this Mini were cracked and leaking. When these engine mounts fail, not only do you experience an uncomfortable ride but it might damage and place additional strain on other components.

If you experience any symptoms of the above, its possible that you might have a worn mount. Feel free to contact us for any queries.

What you are seeing in this video is a power steering fluid leak. When you face a leak like this, your steering will start to become heavy and difficult once it loses fluid pressure.

If this happens when you’re driving on a relatively straight road, it won’t make much difference. However, if you need to turn, especially if you are going at speed, it will not be easy or safe.

The causes of leaks can come from loose fittings, cracks in the flexible rubber hoses or worn seals. Environmental conditions and driving styles can be a factor as well.

The main thing to look out for is small red or pink oil puddles under your car. If you see such a puddle, it could be a possible indicator. Feel free contact us for more queries if you suspect anything wrong with your ride.

Here we are replacing the torque converter oil seal due to a transmission leak.

If you notice a small puddle of red fluid underneath your vehicle, this is not a good sign you and need to get the leak repaired. If it is left alone, the problem will get worse over time. Eventually, the transmission will fail if the leak is not fixed. A smaller leak is a simpler fix than a bigger one so always be sure to rectify the leak early.

Contact us for any queries about your ride and we'll be happy to serve you!

Transmission oil leak repair in progress!

If you spot a green or reddish fluid puddles forming under your car, chances are you have a transmission oil leak. Usually the main cause of a transmission oil leak is a gap in your transmission. It can be tricky to narrow down where the gap is as it could be in a pan gasket, torque converter, fluid lines, transmission pan or the seals.

Transmission oil leaks can occur due to various reasons such as wear and tear, damaged by debris from the road or loose/broken seals.

As mentioned, if you notice a green or reddish puddle forming under your car, even if it's just a small amount, you must get the leak rectified. If left alone, the problem will worsen over time and your transmission will eventually fail.

We are Juzz Performance and we are a German car specialist. If you notice any such problems with your car, feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to help you!
