Insurance and bank loan

Re: Insurance and bank loan

After exactly 3 months to the day....I will be collecting my car this afternoon (finger crossed that the registration goes smoothly). YIPEE.

Anyway, PI said car passed VITAS test last friday and gotten the NOA/NOI yesterday. So PI called me to tell me the good news.
So I called up my ins agent to buy my own insurance and faxed the cover note to my PI office immediately.
Because I bidded for my own number, PI again told me to fax the letter to them.

I am surprised that I no longer need to hand over my IC to register my new car.
PI says no need because everything computer now. (So why the heck need my insurance cover note and licence plate bid success letter hur?)
I remember two years ago, I still have to hand over my IC to register my car with LTA.

Is there a checklist for PI BMW car collection that I can use?

Re: Insurance and bank loan

I celebrated too early....yup...another excuse PI said that the NOA is not received in time to register the car. PI also cannot confirmed NOA will be ready tomorrow or not!
Officially I have being punked by the PI.
Truely now I 101% understand why others like to F-k PI upsided down over all the funny tricks up their a$$ when it comes to buying cars from PI.

Collect money very fast...delivery gives kok-n-bull excuses....always blaming LTA except themselves!
Make me lose two days of insurance $$$, for insuring a non-existant car.
Not forgetting the 3 weeks interest lost for paying 70% cash to PI for the car (only took the compulsory minimum loan amount as dictated by PI).

Tomorrow I am going to drive my old lorry down to the showroom and crash into the PI's new GTR, GTI, Sirrioca, and ask PI to claim from my insurance! See how they feel about the hassle they like to bring upon their customer . (No lah..joking only lah...dam angry kena played out by this PI time and time again.)

Haiz....really zero trust for this PI.
I only hope the new car got no issues or error codes after collecting it, and can enjoy driving it peacefully soon for a long time to come.

And the waiting......continues.....

Re: Insurance and bank loan

Aiya..I might reveal it after I safely collected my car lah. Turf City one lah.

I am only pissed at disbursing my money for three weeks already and yet PI cannot deliver the goods.
If I had thrown the monies in stock market three weeks ago, instead of into the PI's hand......I would have easily made some profits for my mods liao.:sneaky:

Re: Insurance and bank loan

To close this chapter.
I have collected my car. Enjoyed the nice cool topless drive last night...hoping to catch the meteotite shower scene while cruising along changi beach.

First drive remark.
Good solid built. No rattles and car tracks well.
Went to pump petrol and then pump tyre air, was surprised that run-flat needs high tyre pressure front 250kpa, rear 270kpa, the ride is not hash at all.

Going to start my modding today.

Factory recommend 220/250 kpa, I usually pump 225/255. I think 250/270 a bit too much.
