Wts original BMW battery

Bimmer Bro & Sis,

Assisting a friend of mine selling his less then 1 mth old BMW battery. Tax invoice can be shown to interested buyer, Total cost : SGD363.29. Ask now SGD270.00 nett.

Reason of selling:

His E46,318I cannot be started, hence he rang the PML recovery team. The guy came and claimed that his current battery is defective and not an original battery despite that he had changed the battery beginning of the year..

A few days later, car cannot be started again, this time he was told that starter is defective. Well, as usual, he changed the starter motor again..All in all, SGD1000.00 gone with the wind. This does not end here, another few days later, car failed to be started again!!!

This round, he got himself very frustrated and desperate for help. Sent the car to BVO instead, guess what gentlemen. The culprit is only a " Lossen earth cable" that is near to the wheel arch..This round, he paid only one packet of kopi O for this fault finding..(SGD0.80cts)

Expensive lesson learnt.

At present, he has a new BMW battery and also a used starter for sales..

I nearly kena this. My air-con was not blowing cold air and PML told me it was the air-con compressor which would cost about $2K to replace. I went to check with Tomika and was told the air-con compressor was in good working condition and it was the condensor coil that was leaking and cost $1K. Imagine if I had listened to PML!

My personnal opinion: Mine 330 oil sump gasket, engine mount were replaced last year around Aug. Laterly discovered a slight oil leakage from the sump again, went back last mth and told them about this. Ans: sori boss, is oreadi one year +, no warranty liao ! "L,L" and "thank you" them

Hence, drive the poor car to BVO to fit it up and surprisingly i was shown by "wee" that the engine mount was not properly sitted on the chasis, Damn, no wonder every morning i always encounter slight engine vibrates..Well, get it fixed again..

We paid high class repair bill got a crap after sales service...

should go back and screw the pml mgmt for their recovery team misdiagnosis and claim a refund.

Sorry, they dont practised this rules and insist of .."Goods sold are not returnable"

Yup,gonna be careful next round..Imagine, if they are guessing and "tikup" to a underwear salesman,maybe they can get thru, but just too bad, we are having a techinical and engineering background..No Bull and Shit...

Can Somebody buy my friend's battery and starter ?
