Hi Folks

These Bilstein B12s (after B16 - PSS9 coilovers and B14 -PSS coilovers) are a complete set of paired and matching shocks and springs, made to fit and complement each other.

This article is suitable for the following models:
BMW Model Year of construction (from - to)

To verify, do check out the online catalogue site. Basically it will fit all E46 Sedans, Coupes and Cabrios except Tourings, Compacts and the xi and xd models.

Factory spec : Lowers front 35mm and rear 25mm. On my car with 18" rims : resultant gap of front 1.5 fingers, rear 2.5 fingers. No rubbing whatsoever.

Note : This may differ slightly from car to car.

Decent life left. Used approx. 6 mths only, around 10K km. Never tracked, just daily driving.

Bought brand new for $1100, selling at $750. Price does not include installation.

higher max. axle load for trailer operation

E90 320 Bilstein B12 part number: SE5-C043
Fitting Position Front Axle, Lowering 35 mm, To axle load 1000 kg
Fitting Position Rear Axle, Lowering 20 mm, To axle load 1200 kg

They are totally different parts.

Update on 1st post.....since I received some PMs, did a check online and apparently it fits '98 - '00 Pre-FL E46 320 as well....and apparently also 4 cycl E46 as well.

just note the front may sit a wee bit higher if used on a 318 as the engine load up front is less so less compression on the springs
