Helping a friend here.

Black on black E90 320, all stock. Very minty condition, still got new car smell, I think mileage under 18k (can't remember).

Dealer offered $105k. Only 1 year old plus about one year road tax paid for. All serious offer above $105 will be considered. Interested, please contact me at 96815510. Thanks.

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E60

Bro it should be E90 rite? The E60 can't be that cheap.

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E60

Admin, can help me change the thread to reflect E90 instead of E60? Thanks.

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

Thanks for all the interests. The car has been traded back to PML at $105,000.

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

Wah...siong...haven't count interest yet!

Then PML advert over the weekend for $115k, and also make from insurance + loan.

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

I tot it was a pretty good price for those who were interested. New car now going for about $119, but thats provided only if you take over 7 years loan and get the rebate from the interest. All in, $119k is not quite the accurate picture. They told me if take 3-5 year loan, price is in range of $123k.

the rebate should be used to subtract from the int you are paying to get your eff int rate, not deduct from the car price. it's just a gimmick to con people into thinking they are buying 'cheaper'.

it's the same as asking yourself this, if rebate is $120k, but the condition is 10% per yr * 10yrs, does it mean you getting the car 'cheaper'? or in this case, completely FOC? :cloud9:

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

your question quite cheem... but to answer your question, the car is technically cheaper since u will only be paying $120k over 10 years (inclusive of interest payments). Vs if you buy the car at 120k, with 3% int * 10 years = 156k over 10 years.

I agree with you that the interest rebate is a gimick, worth it only for those willing to take a long term loan.

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

The discounted price is 120k before interest rebates.

If you take a 90% loan for 7 years, you get a 5.25% rebate upfront,
i.e. 90% of 120k = 108k * 5.25% = 5.67k

If you choose to take this interest rebate off your initial car purchase price of 120k, it will work out to be 114.33k for a new 320iA.

However, I would think that it is better to look at this rebate as a reduction of your interest payable to arrive at a lower effective financing interest rate.

Prices of car have definitely aligned itself to the current market conditions.....high fuel prices, weak stock markets, increasing car usage/maintenance costs and a fairly strong SGD has helped prevented prices from going up.

no one can make money from changing cars ever since 1992........ its a sad fact..:(

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

I am confused. Is the new 320i selling at 120k by PML now? Or is it a used one. Which are we talking about here

so bro, take 90% for 7yrs, what interest rate are they charging?

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

120k is for current promotion... new car price

hire purchase interest rate is 3.5% p.a. for 7 years.

Meaning that monthly instalment would be $1533 if you choose the 90% loan for 7 years repayment.

cheers.

Re: Wts: 5/2005 E90

$1600 instalment is without factoring the interest rebate mentioned? I could be wrong ...
