Yup.

No way.

Some 2 years back, I was absolutely LUSTING over a Porsche 993 GT2 for sale in Malaysia. It was a RHD ex UK car and one of approx only 17 RHD 993 GT2s built.

Was even thinking of getting a small apartment in KL so that I could keep it there!

PS,

Congrats on the 190! Didn't know that you had the classic car bug hidden in you! So how is the car anyway? Is restoration all done?

hey Boris!

been a long time !

I wanted to do the restoration before presenting it to Dad, but since I have had to travel he has been doing the restoration instead :) enjoying his semi retired days
the car is in his place in JB/KL, will post up when I'm back and have a look :)

the original 2.3 16 we had was also ex UK. dad had 1 regret changing the rims to a 5 star spoke instead of the original 18 kind? he used to clean the car himself every 2-3days so thought that was a nuisance...

I most certainly do. An eye watering 950k RM. But bear in mind that in the UK at that point, a similar car would have been approx 250k sterling ( as a matter of comparison, a 959 with similar mileage would have been 160-180k sterling....)

If this ad to be believed, there's a 1 in 6 chance that this was the one you had your eye on?
