Already booked 523 with PI yesterday evening, picking her up in end Oct.

Apart from the sunroof, most of the items are actually the same. price difference at abt 35k. by having some of the reliable w/s i think 35k is worth the keep.

it might be good to compare prices net of trade in. from time to time PML has a super trade in promotion like the recent June / July... bringing net prices to low 200K + ... and OMV was decent at around 44K for STD... COE was near 70K +/- !!! and the batch had much enhanced options like sports steering with padde shift , sports gear, thr loading, folding mirrors on PAR with PI.

ps: sports steering with paddle shift is standard now. Park Assist is only for 528i and above. and 535i and above gets 19" 331 rims. Cool!!!

My brother new 523 from PML comes with sunroof and paddle-shift le....but of course got to pay premium...

bro horfun, yes i have trade in. i have checked pml, its abt 240k less 75k after all promo and vouchers converted to overtrade... but its 523i, whereby am
getting most items as what pml has offered from pi. after calculation.. pi is still worth it.. with gd third party servicing centre.. m not worried. hope to join ur meetup soon.

I understand many BMW PI dealers use TWM warranty for their cars.

According to many buyers here, TWM workshops drag warranty claims and keep the cars in the workshops for weeks to wear out clients and many of them fork out money to repair the cars on their own at outside workshops.Others who managed to get their cars repaired either have to keep chasing the workshop or get their car repaired with second hand parts. Another compliant is the need to pay for expensive(or low quality) servicing at TWM workshops to retain the warranty.

However I am wondering if the experience will vary among workshops or car makes. Do you experience any problem on warranty claims?

i don't mind playing taichi with TWM since i have perfect my table banging skills with PML

From my personal experience, claiming from twm warranty was quite straight forward so far. I have a PI F10 which I have not done any claims so far but I also bought extended warranty from twm for my wife's E90.

I have already claimed engine oil leak and replacement of the a/c condenser coil for the E90 within the first year of extended warranty. Fixing the oil leak took 1 day and replacement the condenser took 3 days, where most of the waiting time was for ordering of parts. Warranty claim is quite straightforward if you go direct to their workshop. Just drive in, let them know the problem and they will call back shortly after checking to see if it's covered by warranty. You can then decide if you want them to work on it immediately or send in the car another day if it's not convenient.

75K should be the traded in price with Overtrade

Question is what car did you traded in for?

I traded my 05 E60 523I for 66K.
At that time Basic 523I going for 200k ( average) from PI

PML with so fall Overtrade only gave me 69K!

That seems very low overtrade amount for your e60. I traded in my 06 e60 for quite a bit more.

For me the difference between PI and PML is quite abit especially since I have no car to trade in. After factor in discount of a few k from PML, the difference is about 30k+. However the PI car comes with many more options. Plus the warranty by a reputable workshop and it becomes a no-brainer for me.
