will 19x9.5 et25 rub on a e90 ?

Re: will 19x9.5 et25 rub on a e90 ?

If you remain your M suspension, it may not rub but if you lower your car with PSS9, it will rub, not only need to roll fenders, possibly need to adjust further on the camber. Even ET 27 also rub, what do you think of ET25? Actually because of all these things hold me back to get the RS GT.
May be Jack can give better answer.

Try to PMed tomting, I think he mention before he is running on 19x9.5 ET25 on his rear.

Re: will 19x9.5 et25 rub on a e90 ?

sure rubs if u run 265 tires
remedy....roll the fender hard, dial in more camber at the rear, no rub
and handling swee2x

Depends on tyre width profile, not wheel width.

there is a scientific method to find out.

Here is the calculator: Car Bibles : The Wheel and Tyre Bible Page 2 of 2 check under
The wheel offset calculator

Here is an example of calculation: The Cayman Club - RAC Monolite Group buy Wheels built by Champion Motorsport

you compare your previous (or stock) with the new and then you will know.

You can also try the wheel offset calculator here: Will they fit on my 335 coupe? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum - E90Post.com

Well, when u have wide rims, u shud put the right size of tires anyway so they should go along the same line...Hence the width n offset are highly relevant

Re: will 19x9.5 et25 rub on a e90 ?

Hi Pak Jack, as explained to you in the PM earlier, till today I still couldn't understand why my set up having the rubbing issues: Rear axle 18 x 8.5 ET37 plus 12mm spacers. Camber at rear axle, left -1deg 38' and right -1 deg 40'. In theory I have extra 8mm allowance as compared to ACU set up. Can you figure out any reason for that matter. Many thanks and sorry to trouble you.

Re: will 19x9.5 et25 rub on a e90 ?

roll your fender and change to 10mm spacers..rubbing issue gone

Re: will 19x9.5 et25 rub on a e90 ?

Thanks.
Already rolled after your advice, now no rubbing even with the 12mm spacers. I guess the offset of the rims and fenders dimensions not that accurate !

Re: will 19x9.5 et25 rub on a e90 ?

yep...rubbing depends on what tyre brand as well. if i run Toyo T1R at the back, i wont have any rubbing issues since Toyo's sidewall is a little stretched as compared to PS2 which is rather square...u know what i mean?

lots of ppl in the US are running 265 rears on a 10' width wheel and very low offset like ET22/ET20. These guys run aggressive rear negative cambers with tyres like Toyos, Falkens and the likes...and of course fender rolling to the max!

my drop is pretty conservative (not the tyre inside the fender type), but i've rolled both my fenders as well since it rubbed occasionally during high speed bump...
