Where to rectify fault? IU reader prompt Err upon inserting of cashcard

Hi all,

Anyone encounter the above problem with yr IU ? Should i send to workshop( Any recommendation) or back to LTA yah?

Appreciate all advise.

U can go to LTA @ Sing Ming, they will do the check on the spot and replace if need to. But do try another cash card to ensure the fault does not lie with the card instead.

Turbo...possibility of Cash card expired. It happened to me b4 & appears Err reading.

Try this...If u can't top up yr cash card, likely it's expired.

it just happened to me yesterday too, i tried another cash card and it was alright.... so all i did was asked for a refund at the nearest ATM for what was left on that cash card....

Hi hoks,adsnx and ferd,

tks for kind reply. Initially i thought it was the cash card problem too. Hence i insert another cashcard and it again prompted error
Later,I'm going to try with other card unless all damm expired at the same time.
If it fail ,shall go to LTA liao.

You may want to check your cash card expiry here,

by keying in its 16-digit identification nos.

Yup check liao,nothing wrong with the IU, it's due to cashcard expiry.
