Any of our panel of workshops - BVO, J4C, ......

Thanks man kenntona,

do you know the est. cost and address for BVO (sounds like a place I need to visit)? Thanks for the reply.

hi snall_mobile, DIY sounds interesting .... save $$$ too ... but hate to get any dust into the speedo. Instructions or URL for instructions ? Thanks.

hi all, Just DIYed the chrome rings last evening. Tools: Double-sided tape, torx 15,20. Took me about 1 hour... After removing the speedo, it's important to go to a dust free environment to put the rings on. It was smoother than I expected. Looks great!!! :)

Congratulation, Bro.

Congrats!

Quite fun taking out the cluster right? Damm, i wished i took photos and posted a DIY for this. I remembered i was like handling the cluster like some bomb incase anything dropped out.

Hehehe..nothing to late to try..Did you paint your needles red? Just another mod idea.

Basically same process, but use a red permanent marker to colour it. Looks exactly like the M3 needles.

:p

Too bad the new E90 doesn't have the crome rings. Gotta wait and see what can be modded in the interior of the new car..

Thanks guys! Wow more ideas ... love them or hate them ?! Guess I'll do it when I'm really free. I just put together something using a a cassette tape adaptor and the iPod shuffle ... I'm personally quite proud of it. Will be posting soon ... cheers!

how about the speedo dial plates??? got AC Schnitzer ones you know... how about pasting the M3 logo on it...

ha ha, sounds like a never ending story ... anyway, just posted the iPod shuffle adapter in the ICE section. Cheers! :laughlik:

in actual fact, removing the meter cluster is not difficult. I see my mechanic take out today ... piece of cake.
