Where to buy watch winder motor?

My watch winder is giving out a grinding sound and I wish to buy the motors and replace them myself. Does anyone know where to buy the motors and how much?

By the way, it appears that most winders use generic motors. True or false?

Try to check with JW at International Plaza. These guys can repair/replace a lot of watch-related items.

No. Average ones like Titan and Navale.

i'm using navale x 6 winder if you're using this brand and hear grinding sound means motor still in working condition but rubber belt had worn.
go get the rubber belt at sim lim tower basement shop and it costs around $1.5 per, replace all and buy some spare.
remember to apply rubber belt grease/lubricant after the belts changed

Agreed with previous bro's posting - Sim lim tower basement you can find the spare parts.

Or you can send it back to Navale and ask for a quote before committing. I own their winders and after 1-2 years encountered motor problems and have sent back and they fixed for me for a small fee, with a customer's warrenty on replaced parts.

I took the motor apart and re-aligned the rubber band. The grinding noise is now gone. But you are right. The rubber band is prone to breakage and I'll go and buy a few to keep.
