- ac323: go with your heart..............6 cyc really rock
- Puffer: drive with strawberries scented aircon, instead of blue white logo..you get pink white, limited edition strawberry pink F10 colour, when you press horn or accelerate , the car will fire out strawberries from the front and back.
- Ahwing: if you are for strawberry, u will be glad u get the last few 6 cyc NA for 5 series.
- davidtch: Being NA whore, it is very hard to embrace turbo. Being IL6 whore, it is very hard to embrace 4 pot turbo wif the same pwr & torque. NA IL6 FTW!!
- wt_know: bmw, merc and audi already pushing out thier simi dynamic, simi efficiency in all their model from small to compact to big sedan. sooner or later, 6cyc engine might be only available in really high end high performance model.
- Rocky99: you might be pleasantly surprised by the distinctive smoothness of the 6 cyc NA when mated with the 8 spd.
- kentonna: I believe the IL6 owners have to be differentiated - the owners of the 520/523 do not quite expect the same "refinement" as the 530 owners, for instance.
- MW: Hp n torque are illusory in Sg. Refinement defines the drive, even if it's only 1km
- st8800: refinement isn't so hard to understand and I don't think it is an illusion. The i6L is smooth and creamy when u are gentle on the throttle. It doesn't howl like a landmover when push it hard like many 4 cylinders. Doesn't rattle like a taxi when idle like a 4 potter.
- hitmee: u need a 3L IL6 to truly enjoy the strawberry.
- wobbles: 258hp & 300Nm is plenty for an F10 that wafts about on fluffly, strawberry-scented pillows as she meanders lazily around town, in a most refined (IL6) manner. 523i is strawberry with whipped cream. 528i is strawberry with whipped cream and frosted sugar all laid out on a beautiful lady lying nekkid on a table like some sushi restaurant style type
- douggie: Once you have tried, it's never the same.
- golilok: The test drives of the 528 and 535 turbos made me realized how strawberry the NA IL6 is.
So what the hell is Strawberry Engine?
