What does XL means? Cannot be eXtra Large right?

hoping to find out what XL means, I have seen 325i XL and 325i XL Coupe in sgcarmart. See link here.

Good info indeed. Had always thought it to be the face-lifted model.

No wonder, for my '08 525, the catalogue & invoice stated 525i LCI XL but the LTA records only stated 525XL minus the LCI.
