What can I do to a E60 (Pre LCI)?

Hey All,

I just collected a pre LCI 2005 E60 left with 3.5 years. It's my 1st BMW. Have driven a VW for 4 years but decided to get this to drive till the end of life since mileage was very low.

I would like to do certain things to spruce the car up. Could you all advise what can i do in terms of the following aspects? I have read through the forum for the last 2 weeks but still feel a bit lost. Appreciate all the help and kind advise.

1. Front Lights - what can I do besides changing to LED Angel eyes?
2. Tail Lights - heard that I can fit a LCI LED tail light. Is it possible?
3. What can I do about the ICE? Would like to be able to play DVD, install a reverse camera since my wife drives 50% of the time and perhaps GPS. Does fitting all of these give an issue to the existing unit?
4. Solar films - would like to give the dark look (that I see in most E60s) but effective IR blocking
5. Any other suitable recommendation is also welcome

Hey bro mine is a pre lci e60 too, ive installed a set of white angel eye from bimmershop which really brings out the look of the ride especially mine is white. Remus exhaust, you'll enjoy a bassy exhaust although some drones is unavoidable. Definitely sounds sportier with the sport exhaust... But recently considering making it louder... Haha. I wonder how? Installing a set of 19" rims and a set of chio chio bodykit can definately turn some heads on the road. Some bros here say damage for ice with gps will cost around 2 to 3 k . So for my case I leave that out since left with 3.5 yrs. Get those external gps will be fine...

Ohhhh just to add, the original animated sensor is actually good enough for a driver like meee. So I left the reverse camera out as well haha

Welcome dude! Many things to do for e60!
LCI tail lights I believe fit exact but are not cheap, even the Taiwan made ones.
ICE is also in the region of thousands for sure.
Bodykit and 19" are a MuST! Hehe

I also wanna get some advice on solar film.. If put dark dark inspection confirm fail right? I wanna change dark ones too since my inspection only due next year. At most inspection time change back normal then past back again..

change to LCI tail lights require a adaptation module.. not cheap.

Mine is dark solar too... When time is up.. I get my mechanic to drive in for inspection.. So I think most likely will pass
