Warranty after modding

ok this has probably been asked many times before but can I ask all the gurus if there's any risk to the warranty if the car is modded by upgrading to aftermarket springs and changing to a LTA approved quad exhaust? Thanks.

Warranty by PML or MA will void.

Alternatively:
- Upgrade to BMW performance or ///M performace parts as replacement (excluding M cars)
- Make 'arrangement' with your regular PML/MA SA/CA.
- Swap back to stock if something happens, accidents excluded.

Also the ride's suspension was tested 'vigorously' in a controlled environment, it is good enough for daily drive or occassional spirited driving, need to change meh? Any intention to track?

Latest IMHO, if die die must change (in many male's blood), screw the springs, opt for coilovers.

If accident, I think they will replace you with M exhaust instead of stock. Anyone can confirm?

You can only claim stock unless your insurer is notified and reassessed for premiums. The upgrade parts must be part of the insured item listed.

Bro, insurance will onli cover based on your car model... if u r M3 wannabe wif aftermarket M parts... sori.. jiak kaki.. in accordance to the policy, they dont even cover your aftermkt sports rims.

That's if you are claiming own insurance. But what if you are claiming 100% against third party because the exhaust, bodykit, etc were damaged by a collision from the rear?

OT a bit, it doesn't make sense if we order the cars with original M parts (at AD no less), get hit by some idiot from the back and get a stock car back after repairs?

illegal mods are an incentive to drive more carefully.

after install BBK can close eyes and drive. car will brake by itself.

My aftermarket M Sport bumper from SWC was replaced at PML after a stupid woman driver rear ended me.
Moral of the story.... if u wanna mod.... stick to M Sport.

I wished, I repaired and changed rims until 扑街. Whenever it happens, I console myself by reading this thread.
