Re: wah god said sorry n thank u to pastor KHFC

Is it possible to put up a front for covert purposes for a long period and not be exposed?

For instance, using a religious image to reinforce leadership image and strengthen sales network and keep up that image for a long time?

Is that similar to KH?

I would be very surprised if a person like KH is putting up a complete front. What I see is that he is self rationalising his situation to match his predisposed beliefs. But I would bet that many people are still part of the congregation because of peer pressure and social circles..whether they realise it or not.

It's human nature to be defiant in the face of an accusation. Now whether KH thinks that he is right or wrong is not important. It's the fact that he continues to use his influence and incite others to be equally defiant as him, that is dangerous.

This has got nothing to do with religion. This is a man, knowing his ability to influence, that has deliberately manipulated people to his cause.

For that reason, he needs to be brought down heavily and stamped out once and for all, to warn others that has equal influence, don't try to be funny.

Don't understand how our world class justice system can put up with this scam for so long. And worst still, using taxpayers' money to start long-drawn trials for cheats.

In China, he would have been sent to the firing squads 10 times over already. Can't deny I like China sometimes.. you cheat, you do corruption, you die.

I absolutely agreed with this, that's why I think our authority sense the danger in such charismatic character with infinite abilities to win the soul of people off on the streets. Imagine instead on Vivian, PAP have him in the parliament. Maybe we will thank the Government for the fast and effective haze resolutions. But again, if WP have him instead of Sylvia.... it's a always threat for someone with such immerse influence on common people

Re: wah god said sorry n thank u to pastor KHFC

it's juz business... nothing much. Simple business.

oh, forgot to add... it's the ultimate business model.

Re: wah god said sorry n thank u to pastor KHFC

Essentially ppl chose to join a particular religious group bc its interpretation allows or justifies ones own action. So essentially like minded ppl tend to congregrate.

I think this guy really believes in what he says...As for those who are clapping I think it just show the level of trust they have in him...Regardless of what happens I don't think the ppl in his congregation will stop believing in him.

Correct. What other businesses are more underhand than preying on people's belief and faith?

I can't think of any except for drug trafficking, sex trafficking and SCAMS! Oh yes scams. This one rings a bell, yes? Sounds familiar.

Precisely if he doesn't get his desserts aka jailtime, his cult-like performance will motivate a cult-like movement from his CHC members to do stupid things. In the long run, it is not good for the society to have a cannon on the loose. Using religion to instill thoughts (good or bad) is very risky move. Imagine congregation way bigger than Hong Lim Park which has potential to rally anything even political. MIW better see this threat from this guy. He needs to be put down, lock up and serve his time so that society can be safer.
