Did you actually see him doing it or did you presume he did just to get back at you over the parking argument?
I do think it's going to be costly and time consuming to file a magistrate's complaint..and you need concrete evidence to back your claims too. To top it all off, chances of winning such claims tend to be relatively slim too unless there's photographic evidence that catches him in the act. :screwedu:
OT - Which brings me to my next point..Ever wonder why we pay taxes to maintain the police force but they just never seem to be able to solve any grievances for you :furious: ?? They always say they have their hands tied due to limited authority granted to them but they are always quick to flash their badge wehn they pull you up and book you for speeding...End of OT

I don't really think it matters as to who's at fault. Defacing another person's property is just wrong and cowardly. I doubt the police will do anything without the proper evidence.
Good luck pursuing the matter. Hopefully you'll get reimbursed from the guy.

Well I was waiting to get into the lot and he just came and drove in.
I got got and said, "sorry ah mister, I think I was here earlier and I was waiting.. he said "where" - I said "no lah, like that not rite" then another lot came along and he siad ok and parked in the other lot...
anyway, even if I should have just shut up and be bullied - he has no right to deface my property....its a lot of money that I can save ... anyway..
anyway, his plate is 3585 - a toyota I think - so brudders watch out for him....

This case is considered as mischief that is why you need to take an order what u need to do is to is to pressure the police to classify as vandalism then you can be assured that it will handled swiftly.
i believe that 'vandalism' must have trend and irreversible damage u can pressure the IO to take action suggest u talk to some key personal not the chap at the counter.
BTW all this based on my limited knowledge plse check further, also i know one case in CP of such incidence where it was eventually changed to vandalism after pressure was placed on the police.

I wouldn't bother going the legal method if I were you. Waste of time. With the kind of Police Force we have, you are sure to waste your time, effort and money. Typical Singapore, Police Force is just basically wayang. Just for show one because every nation needs one. Buggers inside there are so lazy that the only time they would act on something is when the evidence is basically presented in front of them on a silver platter. Fav phrase they use ..."lack of substantial evidence" .... Isn't it THEIR job to seek the evidence and select what is substantial?!? Bunch of useless jokers!
If I were you, I'll just chill but I will mark him out and plan my revenge. An eye for and eye. Tooth for a tooth. When he less suspects it ....

On the serious note, most of the time when I encounter such problem. I will give in and dont bother to argue with the joker for the carpark space. But tis doesnt make me look small, isnt it!!

Haha.. Nope I think just giving him the lot is the gentleman thing too. I mean if he wants to be a boor, let him be... But I know its hard to control. sometimes I just give a disgusted look. But I try to control cos I think my car paint and canvas top is worth more than a silly provocation... But then again, its easy to get fired-up...

Well....I am not gonna be exacting any "revenge lah" ...
police reports etc all made - still considering whether to amplify the matter...
I know the police can't do much... but at least invite him for kopi good enough.... even if nothing comes out of it...
