Vertini Stance 20"

Re: Vertini Stance 20"

I see no difference between 18" and 20" for mileage. My OBC is about 8.7-8.9km/l. Based on actual calculation i get about 8.5-9.0km/l for the whole tank. I usually drive in normal mode.

I recently upgraded to 20" from 17" on my F10 (Vertini Stance 20"). FC seems to be only slightly difference before I upgraded. As for comfort, I find it more quiet and comfort compare to stock RFT tires. Will be arranging to lower my ride in about 2 weeks time. Will update after I lower the ride.

Which springs are you going for? From what i read at f10post, ACS springs are the best. H&R is a tad soft and makes the ride bouncy. A few who go for H&R eventually ditch them for ACS and noted an improvement.

Bro, OPC I'm not quite sure. I only monitor full tank mileage. Seems like no much difference before and after.

Oh, I'm new to all this mods. Only knew there's H&R springs for F10 for now. Can please pm me where to get ACS and the damage? Thank bro.

Re: Vertini Stance 20"

based on F10post review, ACS spring is da best

H&R = lowest, ride quality not so great
RD = lower than ACS, ride quality > H&R
ACS = not so low, ride quality best match OEM damper ...

i think acs will give you at least 2 fingers gap
if you like slam-down look like in the video, it's better to go with KW V3 ... many F10 bros here swear by it :D

Wah... getting more and more poison liao...

Bro, KW V3 spring or coilover? Any review on the comfort? Thank you.

Re: Vertini Stance 20"

I read everywhere that lowering springs will never give you the ride comfort and quality as compared with coilovers. Lowering springs will only lower abit n improve alittle on body roll n firmness but only alittle. After awhile it will still feel "floaty" n so most just go for coilovers like KW3.

But I am curious...if I use lowering springs and install Anti Roll bars, would it improve more on the firmness and eliminate the floaty feeling?

if u driving for long then go straight for KWV3 as low as u want and ride n handling not compromised at all

Oh, the sound still exist, but only when the wheels are cold. After driving for while the sound gone. Kind of getting use to it already.

So much difference compare to H&R springs. That's a lot.

More like if u go for spring, handling not much improves
Only car is lowered
But In term of confort, coil over can never be as comfortable as lower spring.
Coil over is simply too hard!
