ha ha, u r half right or half wrong.

i did buy a 525 b4 national day last year. but i did not sell my euro R. i jus resprayed n do up my euro R too......

525, wifey drives during office hrs. i only take it for wkend family outings; or some midnites, jus steal it out to ve a spin.

Think no further.

Powerbox is the only mod that gives you 22+bhp & 20+nm with 'Throttle Booster Selector' maps!

velocity is throttle booster and powerbox is ecu piggyback that also has throttle mapping features
do velocity throttle booster "changes" the gear ratio behavior ? i read some posts that while using velocity the gear holds longer for extra pull and something like injecting a boosted parameter to the ecu for extra "boost" but this do not increase bhp/torque

or velocity is 100% e-throttle booster that merely enlarging the throttle signal and nothing more. the 4 maps refer to how big the throttle signal is enlarged ?
velocity would be the next best thing i can get since there is no ecu tune or powerbox for e90 lci 320

hi Guys.... if PB is a piggy back to the ECU, does it void the warranty by PML? and how about Velocity?

My concern is does it void the warranty.

I was at Juzz for Cars and was advised Velocity for my E60 525i but after reading the forum, i discover PB. I am confused now

Hi wolf,

let just say that if we touch or mod anything in the engine bay or any parts (brakes/suspension) - warranty for that part will be void.

Velocity can be installed and uninstalled very fast so if you are going for servicing then just have it taken out.....likewise for the Powerbox........

if budget allows then maybe best option is to go with the Powerbox (plug and play) so can be uninstalled anytime.....

I am on stock exhaust, etc....does it help? or do i have to do the full set up ie. plugs/exhaust/filters etc....

Pricing wise: PBX is 4 digit whereas Velocity is 3 digit....(best if you can check with J4C for Velocity then PBX with Wilson 9690 5511)

Exhaust can be on stock no problem.....maybe just do an operation on the exhaust so save some cost......air-filter just do a drop-in (K&N will do unless budget allows for GruppeM).

Plugs go for Nology (is good)

I should be there @ 9+am. I saw some posting on the white no. plate lights they carry and i want to get them fixed. Sms Bernard from Boss on stock availability but have yet to recieve his sms reply.

At the same time i can enquire on PBx
