Tyre Puncture (Run Flat)

dejavu

i have a 320i
my tyre pressure warning indicator light came up.
i drove to petrol kiosk and realised that one of my tyre pressure is low.

1) Does it mean that the tyre is punctured? Any other reasons? The BMW service guy recommended that i pump to full tyre pressure and go to BMW for check-up

2) Do i have to replace the tyre or just patch up?

3) If really puncture, can i just go to a nearby tyre shop to patch? any recommendations in the east?
I stay near katong area.

Thanks bros, merry christmas.

Re: Tyre Puncture (Run Flat)

A punctured or flat tyre is a common and small problem, just go to any good tyre shop and they should able to do the job.

Re: Tyre Puncture (Run Flat)

Inflate your tires and drive around. If warning persists, go to a tire shop. Preferrably those who know about Runflats like SouthEast tires. If tire is not badly damaged, it can still be repaired/patched. Else you need a new tire.

Runflats are v.expensive...

Yeah, I'm at PML now, waiting for them to replace my RunFlats....quoted me 287 per piece after discount for the 16" Continental Tyres....shit man....damn ex........

Re: Tyre Puncture (Run Flat)

you can take this opportunity to change to normal tires. At $287, 16" tires you can buy ANY tire. RE01R costs jus $220 a piece at E90 16" size
