Tubi Exhaust

Hi

PML used to have a showroom M3 (in PY) fitted with Tubi exhaust about a year ago.....

has anyone bro sat or test drove this car before - or know of anyone who has the tubi installed in their car ???

would like to hear your feedback and comments - was there is any "in cabin drone - like a motorboat " when cruising in town ( 2600 rpm - 2800 rpm ) ???

The tubi soundtrack is great ( from the outside ) but would like be able to listen to the stereo and talk to my better half without having to shout inside the car :errr:

i have only sat in the ACS one, and the in-cabin drone during cruising doesnt leave room for any other sonal activities.

someone in here is also using hamann, and one has used eisenmann before for m3.

another member has experience with 2 tubis in 2 different cars but both are not m3.

U are rite - the ACS has that drone in-cabin ( I got it and sold it later !)

Understand that the Tubi would be about 30% louder

my take is that the tubi will not sound any better in-cabin than the ACS or eisenmann. but outside, it'll be whoooaaaaaaa ferrari!

Tubi is quite loud compared to the Hamann but not as loud as the Eisenman... Very throaty bassy sound down low but there is a noticable droning sound between 2500 and 3500 rpm. However, this droning is a problem for all after market M3 exhausts.

I test drove the car u mentioned but too bad the tubi exhaust had been removed when they put the car up for sale bout 1yr ago so didnt get the chance to experience the sound.

U can call ur CSA and ask if it's still available. But my take for you is, you are goin to dislike it in the long run coz it's rather intrusive as far as the loudness goes.

My Hamann exhaust is probably one of the quietest amongst many mainstream brands in the market for M3. I feel very comfortable with the noise level at all rpms..Great for cruising, even at higher speed

And now, after putting on that mid pipe thingy, man....it's a whole new driving experience now..
