Trouble Connecting Huawei Phone Google Auto to iDrive 7.0

Just collected my 218i Gran Coupe.

My iPhone connected over AirPlay with no problems but cannot get the Google Auto on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro to connect to iDrive. Keeps getting error.

Can play music and sound over bluetooth; but cannot project the display onto the console. Any one can advise how to resolve it?
