Transmission Fault, Drive Moderately!?

Any one can advise for BMW 520i. ( I believe should be E60 )
Transmission Fault, Drive Moderately!? Possible to continue journey. Reduced Acceleration. Have checked by nearest BMW service

What could be the potential repair cost from lowest to most expensive ?

Could it be the mechatronics unit (gearbox valve body) that is faulty?does it display symptoms similar to those in the thread by @Citizen69?

Thanks for the reply. Just got the mechanics to check.. It is confirmed gearbox problem.. Need to get it replaced

sorry to hear that,is it the mechatronics unit or whole gearbox?
