So after a looooong, looong, loooong wait, I finally went to pick up my E92 335i from PML Bukit Timah this morning. I was surprised to see they had 5 E92 335's (including mine) and about 4 E93 335's.

If I recall correctly, all were sapphire black, except one....damn common colour man :yikess:

Grim will be happy to know that my side mirrors don't fold at the same speed

I have a question, production was supposed to be either Oct or Nov and my SE said that I'm supposed to get it with LED rear lights. How do I find our because it doesn't seem like it

Lastly, and this is mostly rant, why a break in period? :laughlik: Can't wait to floor it!

I bought my car April 2007 (around launch time) so fast got LED lamps, sure or not?

LED is only on the 3rd brake light. Normal bulbs for the rest of the brake lights.

So today I tried to change the break pads to dustless ones I had ordered and failed miserably :angry:

I also found out that someone where I live also took delivery of a black 335i....a twin

Why did u fail in replacing the stock brake pads? The ones that you ordered are not for the 335i? I have not seen any aftermarket brake pads for the 335i yet. Most, if not all, need some modification in order to fit.

I ordered the Axxis pads, the front is for the 335i. I think the clips needed a bit of strength to snap in and I was very tired today, plus I was on the clock as there was something to do so I had to give up and put back the originals.

I don't think I'm gonna try again, maybe bring them to a workshop for installation.

I had forgotten how dusty the OEM pads are, been happy with dustless ones for years.

Arhhhh... i see, Axxis pads! Do fix them and see how do they perform compared to OEMs! I'm curious to know!

Yeah, I don't think the performance of the Axxis is as good as the OEM. That's for sure!

i changed my stock E60 pads to axxis ultimate ...and it performs to much much better than stock... but has more brake dust than stock.... its not those dustless pads...

It's the Axiss deluxe plus, not as good as OEM, but not that bad (from previous experience).
