To install H&R ARB on E90

Dear Bro & Sis,

Just need to ask bros on the board the cost to install a set of H&R ARB on E90. Does installation cost alone @ SGD200? while coilovers set is installed same time which cost another SGD220?.

Need some feedbacks here. many thanks for looking.

Both mods require the removal of the subframe, so you are better off doing both mods at one go. Hell lots of work if you see what they do.

i mean if it makes any sense if the they apply the 2 charges mentioned in the above during single time fittings of both items (ie H&R ARB + Coilovers)?

Hard to comment.

These labour charges vary from shop to shop. So many factors at play..... Examples - parts bought from them? Are you a regular?

it's 2 different job bro.....

U might as well ask them to install BBK, camberkit & then argue that's it's the same cos they'll need to take out the wheels & suspension.......



U haven't been to PML for non-FOC works yet right?? They'll charge you almost everything they touch......

e.g: In order to repair the motor for the windows, they'll charge you the labor for removing the door panel + replace the motor........2 charges......

so, i think its a ripped off considered that i paid 950 + 200 (labour) for a set of H&R ARB, which J4C only quoted 950 (incl install). damn!

funny its that the shop was recomending a pair of cross-drilled front rotor of "OEM size" to me, i said what for? since my OEM rotor are under 8k km only, even if goin to change, gotta get some bigger rotors!

If u see how Kenn and I did our ARB installation, u can see that the shop has to remove the rear subframe to access the stock ARB. It is a big job, hence the high cost of labour. Thus its better to do ur coilovers & ARBs at the same time.

yep, which i did. i know its a big job to do, but how on earth another shop can quote me lower by $200? unless they got 'lobang' to source the H&R ARB at much much lower cost?

this is the first time and also the last time. felt totally deceived.

I was quoted the same price but not sure if thats the workshop. PM me for the workshop. I think its the same one. Anyway, I got my own H&Rs and installing at J4C.
