Awaiting my delivery... any tips of good parts for "upgrading"?

erm... actually, just trying to find out what are the better parts to be using.

eg, are the bmw performance brakes really tt good? or are there better alternatives...etc.

which car are u getting?116i or 118i?

As these two cars are still pretty new in the market, the performance parts is still in the pipeline...
What we can do at the moment are all just cosmetics upgrades...

My guess is to wait for the M model for the new 1 series, then probably by then we will have performance parts to upgrade...

If you are a 116i, there is a ECU remapping unit for us that is already in the pipeline... can wait for that ba...

$80k will suffice
appetizer (wheel/brake/suspension) >> forged wheels&tyres $10K + Brembo BBK 6/4 $11K + Coilover $4K ... there $25K gone liao

He interested in BMW brake performance brembo 6pot BBk. I Did check wif propel auto fm our site sponsor, it's $2.6k... He says it fits the 1 series... Anybody using it? How's the performance?

if you track, slotted better...............if just OG then Cross-drilled...

tink the bmw performance brakes come in slotted rotors right? i'm just unsure how it will behave with the 1 series. although bmw designed the brakes to fit most 1 and 3 series.

2.6k is not from PML right? i understand they selling it around 3.3k. read from another thread most other workshops sell them for approx 3k.

targetting at overall handling, grip and slight power gain. not so much on cosmetics. cos i will probably run my rims quite harshly.
