Think it will be a cautious affair, probably one goal separates the 2. Hope Man U wins.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

a draw away for man utd and i am a happy man.
dun expect too much. 1 -1

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

United to win...by 2 clear goal!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Judging from the current form, Man U have a slight edge over Chelski.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Yeah, Real Madrid and Schalke likely to proceed, unless Inter scores 3 away and Spurs scores 4 at home.

PFA's Gordon Taylor spoke against Rooney's ban for swearing......

"Whilst the use of foul and abusive language is not condoned, there is an acceptance by all parties within the game that 'industrial language' is commonly used. It becomes an issue when directed towards match officials. However, when used in a spontaneous way in celebration or frustration then it is not normally expected to merit a sanction. If sanctions are to be imposed in such circumstances then this has to be done in a balanced and consistent manner, and participants made aware of this fundamental change in approach."

The Press Association: Taylor questions Rooney charge

WTF is "industrial language?"

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Conspiracy Theory behind Rooney's ban......

Football Association new chairman David Bernstein was chairman of Manchester City from 1998 to 2003. Bernstein began supporting Manchester City in 1954 and watched the 1956 FA Cup Final between City and Birmingham City despite it coinciding with the day of his Bar Mitzvah.......

2-match ban means Rooney will miss the FA Cup semi against Man City.........

Ironically, Berstein was the former chairman of the fashion brand FCUK.

That's a big shocker!

On a night where Real Madrid thrashed Spurs 4-0, they must be regretting the decision to let Mourinho go.

I think Inter were powerless to hold on to Mourinho... Real would be the same as well if he has decided to move on.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I'm just wondering if there will be any red cards in the ManU - Chelsea game.
