The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Not in the Arsenal list is the match against Spurs which Arsenal will be playing away.... the match is being postponed and has not been confirmed on the rescheduled date.

LOL!

Agree with you that I rather Arsenal win the Premier league than the rest of the trophies.

LOL! Brilliant!

This is what Carragher and Gerrard said to Nani:

They told him don't you ever come around here
Don't wanna see your face, you better disappear
The fire's in their eyes and their words are really clear
So beat it, just beat it

You better run, you better do what you can
Don't wanna see no blood, don't be a macho man
You wanna be tough, better do what you can
So beat it, but you wanna be bad

Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it
No one wants to be defeated
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Just beat it, beat it
Just beat it, beat it
Just beat it, beat it
Just beat it, beat it

And so the story goes ... little nani decided to heed the kind advice and left the field (on a stretcher).

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

ManU is in the FA cup only because of a lousy 3rd min penalty. So don't moan about Jamie Carragher not being sent off as LFC was already leading 2-O.

Why mention the FA Cup at all? Alex F. called it a Mickey Mouse cup when LFC won it in 2001.

pool played better... ya i could not think why we can't play to our ful potential! guess we are too busy fighting on all 3 front.very boh eng!
liverpool had it better as they only need to fight for??? dunno wat.
yes... they needed it against us more...as they are very disturb by our quest for 19th title, got thrown out by us in FA cup... and to avenge for
the previous lost at OT.
jamie carrgarea(spelling not imp) should have been sent off!

anyway the whole of bpl want us to lose so it can be thrown open! big deal we can do it!
btw after this week arsenal will be left licking their wound.

Man u is always the sore loser. When Saf insulted the referee and got penalised sayin Not Fair but did he realise rooney escape a punishment when he elbow the wigan player? Saf did not comment much on the elbow issue either.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

thats why SAF is imposing a media ban.

Gad, how's the situation in Libya now?

not that good as my people is going against me. Keeping my family in a nearby cave n not forgetting my money. Ship out all my money to europe bank but all reject. Might donate to bobby fan club instead.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

wahh so many anti Man U fans...

yeap Pool outplayed Man U..me Man U fan nothing to say...

Cara should be sent off...Pool up 2-0 by then, but we may still lose but maybe score maybe a bit more respectable?

Im alr looking forward to next season...come to think of it, this is the worst SAF side ever and to be top at this point, we can count ourselves lucky. As many pointed out, Man U top cos there are worse teams than us thats all, not that we are that good....

Fingers crossed...hope we are still top 3 by season end..don wana join Liverpool in some weird euro league or no euro league at all..that would be a disaster..

Go United!

Rooney is a prick of the highest order.

I still remember he tricked the refree and dived in the penalty box to get a penalty in the game that ended Arsenal's unbeaten run at 49. The replays clearly show that Sol Campbell didn't touch him at all.

After watching the Titus Bramble push in the Sunderland game, Arshavin should have coffee with Rooney and learn a thing or two. One, never touch also dive, the other kena push also never scream for penalty.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

It is well known that Man Utd has the greatest number of haters globally, current or historical. I will take that as a compliment. No one hates Wolves or West Ham.

All of a sudden, Chelsea is within reach of the title race. It just shows how tight the BPL is.

He did show his frustration for not given a penalty.

Anyway, do you think we can hold off Barca? I wouldnt be too disappointed if we are out of the Champions League... for me the priority is still with the Premiership.

Come on you, Gunners!!!
