Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Must understand we are too used to winning something every season lar.
Unlike some club will take 2 or a europe placing as a definition
Of a good season! Hai!!!!!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

100 minutes of drama, but the last 2 minutes rock !!! 2 penalties.......

I wonder what was Arsene shouting at Kenny.......

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

King kenny!! Steady sia! Wat a match! 6pts too many! Thks !

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Oh thks dash! For letting yr fav team trip yr 2nd fav
team for the title. Good job for the 6th placing!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Oh well, thats the end of the Arsenal's season.... :(

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

haiyo,
that was not the best result for Arsenal, and not too bad a result considering the injuries Liverpool had.
well. advantage to Man U. :furious:
its now up to them to trip over and lose it.

Arsenal could've closed the gap earlier in the season, and didn't.
Liverpool should've put up a better fight, but could not also.
Chelsea signed Torres, and made a mess of it.
Spurs just learning the ropes of breaking into top 4.
Man City's players are busy learning english.
we were all lousy, thats why Man U got into where they are today.

so LL its Man U'st title to lose....but dont count your chicken before it hatches.
the script can be re-written sometimes.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Must be feeling bad last weekend - Carrick, Eboue

Must be feeling worst last weekend - Scholes

Must be feeling sour and bitter last weekend - Arsene Wenger

Must be feeling mixed last weekend - Liverpool fans (for drawing Arsenal, indirectly helping Man Utd), Man United fans (for losing to City, then seeing Arsenal losing points)

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

since the real life is so frustrating...

lets compete on PS3? we can take our fav teams and beat the holy crap out of others.
Winning 11 or Fifa 11 on PS3, ai mai?

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

How about playing soccer? Tomorrow 7-9 pm Premier Pitch, ai mai?

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Eboue was playing relatively well by his standards...but he just had to screwup.

6 point gap with 6 matches remaining...it's too far a gap considering that Arsenal is playing like shit. 300++ minutes without a goal from open play at home.

Arsenal cannot afford to lose any more point/game, especially the next one - against Spurs away. Cause after Spurs(A) is Bolton (A), Man Utd(H), Stoke(A), Aston Villa(H), and Fulham(A). Besides the Man Utd's game, Bolton(A) and Stoke(A) are the wild cards.......

Man Utd has Newcastle(A), Everton(H), Arsenal(A), Chelsea(H), Blackburn(A) and Blackpool(H). If Arsenal drops any more points, Man Utd can actually afford to lose to Arsenal and Chelsea and still win the BPL.

Even Arsenal home form now also CMI!. Mental strength also not there. To concede a freekick and a penalty in one minute shrieks of panic defending and desperation. The players never recovered from the Carling Cup Final loss.

Man U on the other hand can keep calm and grind results out even after disappointment.

I think players never recovered from Newcastle's 4-4 fight back.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

What Eboue did was plain stupid... Arrrghhh....

Arsenal only have themselves to blame... always screwed up towards the end of the season... this is really frustrating!
