But bros, to be fair (and for the record, I'm not some tripod carrying, boot polishing PAP lackey here), have you actually seen the CMPB assessments for recruits? Frankly, if you guys remember, it's a bit of a joke... certainly not some 10-page psychological aplitude test or SAT/MCAT equivalent. And with thousands of recruits to screen every intake, what do you expect - that everyone of us would grow up to be the potential next Chief of Army?
Surely there'll be cracks & people will fall through these cracks. And I'm not being insensitive here, but certain religious belief/code will brainwash even the most hardy of us - we've seen it in Christian Fundies & their multiple child-sex orgies, we're similarly seeing it in people who twist a perfectly peaceful religion in Islam to fit their own agenda.
I feel the issue here isn't whether the terrorist was from the SAF or not, but whether the terrorist was in anyway STILL ACTIVE & HOLDING A POSITION in the SAF or not, at the time of the incident. From the report, it clearly states EX MAJOR, so I don't really see what the fuss is all about.
