This is usually more obvious in the E36..

But it's normal if the difference is about 10mm from left to right, especially when the fuel tank is about half filled since the left and right tank is not of the same size, with the lef (passenger side) bigger than the right...

Its normal... nothing wrong with your suspension... looks a little weird thats all...

Hi all,

My e46 is also lower at the front on drivers side. Clearance between wheel and arc about 3 fingers on driver's side and four fingers on the passenger side.

PML tells me it is normal esp for 3 series but they offered to do a suspension safety check anyway.
