Re: struct bar

OK guys, I have ordered 3 sets of Ultra Racing for E36 front and back, 2 sets for 4-pot and 1 set for 6-pot. Only partial shipment has arrived, the remainder coming in next Thursday. I think they are just powder-coated steel, nothing fancy. I have installed the front and it looks good coz it's white like my car. Build quality to me is pretty neat. I also have an Eibach used strut if you guys are interested.

Re: struct bar

ah so question is how do they compare with the eibach one, assuming you were on them previously?

Re: struct bar

One is branded, the other not. I can't really tell any differences from the driving position based on the different material used...assuming that the dimension was right (it just drop into all the bolts nicely). Well maybe a bad side impact (e.g. kena T-boned) would probably reveal something. I would just think that alloy is probably more durable.

Anybody in the know care to shed some light about the tensil strength between alloy and steel as employed as struts? Advantages vs disadvantages?
