Steering wheel sound when full lock

Hi F30 owners,

I have this problem when I full lock my steering wheel during sharp turning. When it is quiet (in the carpark), the sound is faintly audible... pretty irritating. it goes like tick tick tick tick... when its at the end of the full lock.

What could be the issue? Can bring back to PML to adjust, oil, change?

My mileage only 8000 plus....

Any advice appreciated. TIA.

First suggest to check power steering fluid level. There is a reservoir for this fluid under the bonnet.

Today I readjust my steering wheel. Unlock it and adjust it nearer. The sound is gone. Not too such if it is the mechanics alignment... well, the sound is gone and I hope it stays this way.

Hope this helps if anyone having this sound issue.

Readjust your steering wheel. Don't put it all the way to the back.
