This module is very cool. Open and close your roof by pressing your remote button without need to keep holding it. and also alow u to open or close your roof top when your speed is more then 20km/h.

On the website it has instructions for self installation,but I suggest you get a professional to do it for you. It is more complicated than it looks and the last thing you would want is to do it yourself and have all sorts of problems down the line. Boss Auto is an authorized dealer in Singapore. You can call them to check for availability and cost. They will charge you an installation fee if you already have the module.

Refer to this website below. There is a local dealer. I tried to contact him and he doesn't seem to have stock and even pricing. So i suspect this item has not many taker. And after about a 1 week he didn't get back to me. Therefore, i do my own research and get it direct from US dealer. cheaper by about $100 SGD. since the US currency is so low now.
According to my friend who installed in his C70. He said is a very cool gadget. If you purchase from local distributor they will still refer you to go and install from your regular workshop. to them its easy.
Since then, i decided to buy direct. I got it very quickly after i make a purchase online. I place the order on 22nd Jul and the item reach me on 26th Jul.
I've made the appointment to install on this coming wednesday around Sin Ming area. According to the installer that this gadget might have some "side effect" human terms haha.... Therefore, i created this thread. Hope to have our experience bros who can share thier experience with us. As for my friend he installed in his c70 3 years ago. according to him so far so good.

Hi there,
I have been using the smartTOP module for my slk for close to 6 months now and it has been brilliant to say the least. It allows you to close your roof whilst on the move (up to 60km/h), likewise the simplicity of a single push on the button. My advice in securing the module would be to go onto ebay and get it from the vendors there. I did mine for less than 500SGD, purchase of module + installation locally. I got it some where around that price too. Just that no installation. The installer charging me $150. The modules and tax i pay ard $500 already. Good lobang. Those bro have any intention to start this project must buy u coffee and get more info from u ya!:chinese:
From what i know now local set is charging some where ard $700 to $800. exclude installation. Can buy many many coffee for us liau..... hahah...

Reckon the pricing of the modules may differ across different ride models though. You should have posted your query earlier; that way I can save you a couple of kopis (and for you to treat me to them!)
