Re: Sg vs My highway

Sigh. This thread reminds me of the good old days. When I was young, and NSHW didn't yet have the AES (which may or may not be working), and SG roads were as smooth as a baby's bottom with nary a pock mark or a pothole.

From Tuas to KL in 2.5 hours on the NSHW, started at the crack of dawn and reaching in time for Mamak breakfast of Roti Canai and Dahl. And back in SG, I never had to worry about overloaded lorries weaving in and out of traffic, threatening to spill their load on our baby bottom smooth roads .... Those were the days

before you found durian trees are everywhere days? :)

No, after. I've had to handle the prickly fruit and it's associated side effects for more than half my life :) - it's an acquired taste. Like candle wax and nipple clamps. I never say any of the bros here.

Sg vs My highway

so, you've been seeing durian trees not just everywhere... but for a long time too. god bless. sigh.

i've done kl-sg 2.5 hours.... at night where the trucks change into the fast lane suddenly and police supper ops are on standby. lucky the roads were good. haha.

Re: Sg vs My highway

For AES, there is iphone apps to overcome it. In fact the entire southern region got no AES.

There is a more primitive way, stick a wet tissue on 1 of the number.
