Sg vs My highway

This week went KL and rented a volvo S60 and can't help noticed that the highways
there are alot smoother and much less bumpy than our PIE, ECP,KPE,etc.
Remember previous rental car like Civics and Accords too had
as smooth drive too, so ruled out car type

Even smoother beyond KL up north ...... Major joy driving up there ......

Our Sg roads are now World Class level Third Class

Beside heavy usage, newly repaved roads are poorly even out
At one point years ago they banned scambler bikes blaming them for
causing road damage...how is that possible? Go check the bike tyre, still made
of rubber leh, no spikes.

I like driving between KL and Taiping, certain stretch cross winds can be very strong
However the road is very smooth

Definitely MY. Always love the ns highway. Do u also now they entire ns highway is fenced up? Pretty cool in my view.

Regular users of ECP would remember the 2 big bumps on first lane along marina just after Kepple viaduct and before mbs, and these were patched up recently. It took me a couple of emails before they decided to mend the bumps ahead of schedule.

I think LTA needs to work harder on the quality of our roads.

Quality of our roads is a joke considering the amount of road related taxes were collected. This is embarrassing.

Also tried the Cameron Highlands old route ..... any one tried 120kmh all the way up ?

technically, its not comparing like and like.

aye and pie's max speed is 90km/h. so, you can compare with federal highway, sungai besi highway and ldp highway...

nse's max speed is 110km/h.

I like driving on the NSH at dawn with no street lights... but lots of dead bugs afterwards!

near the "town" or exit, there'll be lights, but later no lights, and it can be nightmare when it starts to rain heavily
