I've been told by the sales rep who sold me the car that servicing for our bimmers would be at the 25k mark :screwedu: Not too sure if this is accurate..Any bros out there who would advise otherwise? I've heard some ppl who went for servicing at the 7k, 10k and even 15k mark. I know for sure that Jap cars normally do their servicing at the 1k, 5k and 10k mark but what about our bimmers? Is there a standard format to follow? Advise very much appreciated!

Cheers!

Hi, the car's OBC will adjust the mileage according to your driving style. Most people will not be able to achieve 25K km before the servicing. Usually a few thousand km less. Hard driving may even result in 19k km servicing. Each time you turn on your ignition, it will show you how many km to the service.

Cheers

Engine oil is cheaper than engine damage. I'd suggest you get the oil and oil filter changed every 12k km. Labour is $35-$45 at the most.

just change according to your countdown meter. change more occassionally if you can afford the time and extra expenses, for peace of mind. otherwise, also no harm.

Oil change is $30 at BVO inclusive of labour and filter. It's the oil that is going to hurt a bit. About $170 for two 4L bottles.
Takes about 30 minutes max.
