Rims recommendation for 7er

Hey,

back to this forum after a long while. I just got a 7 and would like to find out if there are any good rim recommendations. My car comes with stock 18". I am looking at 20". Will the ride quality be affected *alot* ? If just slightly, I can endure for the sake of the "look" factor.

Depends on new set of rims u investing, i upgraded to 20" breyton spirits.. Freaking heavy rims.. so FC slightly goes up. but when i upgraded again to 22" DPEs, FC went down worh.. reason being that 22" DPEs only 13kg, where 20" breyton is almost 17kg.

from 18" - 20", not much diff on the comfort as far as drving is concern.. but to 22", YES.. the comfort of a 7er, GONE! rather Harsh due to the bigger tires no doubt especially i changed to hamann lowering spring too. Want "look" factor no choce de.

Honestly, if you are worried abt losing the comfort of a 7er, i suggest dun touch anything,, kp it 100% stock and drives like a towkay.

if u insist to upgrade, lets kopi....

thanks everyone..but rims is sold... im my honest opinion the ride will be affected slightly... i will be more concerned with run flat tires ( if ur 7 is running on one) and the road noise of the tires... these 2 contributes to ride comfort way more than rim size in my opinion

anyway, I finally got a set of 20" wheels/rims for my 7er.

got it from South East Tyre. I went to Leong Send and could not find the ones I really like.
