Hi Guys, my windscreen cracked about a size of one cent coin. Planning to do the replacement of the $100 at those authorized workshop by the insurance. But concerning after changing might face problems of air sound or leakage. so wondering anyone does the replacing before? or should i just for for repairing rather than replacing the whole windscreen. need some advise.

Replaced mine before ....... Much clearer with the new glass.

U may want to ask him to repair for u.
So more he comes to u. Cost is half of winscreen replacement.

Generally the standard workmanship of the windscreen appointed workshop in Singapore good, never encountered any problem so far of 3x replacement.
But recently, my insurance Aviva offered a deal as follow,
Do not need to pay SGD 100 claim fee.
Cash refund of SGD 50.00 should I opted to do the service of the crack, means still have SGD 50.00 into the pocket.
Additionally, does not need to paste V-kool new layer of film on the new windscreen as it is only serviced.
The crack lines disappear but there is still small dot/hole(0.3mm) on the screen, not so visible, as I drive the car high speed on the North - South Malaysia rather ofter, stone chips are common.
