Repair of bodykit

Does any expert out there know any possibility of repair/amend a slightly crack front bumper (made of PU+Fibreglass)? Mine kena curb yesterday and the bottom of my new bumper crack a little :furious: . Does the clay used for the body paintwork is workable? Please advice.

hahah, i like your description, clay eh!! MAte i know guys with GTR's and Supra's that do that to their front bar almost weekly, no worries to get fix, body filler these days is actually quite hi tech, works excellently. Some bro's can tell you which good shop to go to I am sure

u will get used to it. i got mine repair for like 80 bucks each time until the extent that i give up nowadays after my Malaysia drive. those kampong roads cracked up my front spoiler real bad. just waiting for it to picha until cannot picha then i go get myself a pp m3 front spoiler...hehe

Wa biang, brother, you're willing to drive your ride to kampong roads ah? Not me man, a bit crack also that hurt liao, can't imagine if I had driven it in that kind of road condition. Anyway, how bad is the crack of your ride that requires 80 bucks? Re-paint is included? Mine was about 10cm crack at the bottom of the bumper that has exposed some feather like stuff, just wondering what is that too? Just call up the workshop that installed my bumper and was told that they'll used the fibreglass material to amend the crack, not the "clay".

haha, yeah mate, the feather stuff is fibreglass. If they use that, no worries, good as new.

everything included....hehe...i still remember parking headfirst into the lot at the stupid DHL hotair ballon ride thingy...it was downwards sloping in front n CRACKKKK it went when i tried to park further inward .

Thanks, man. Anyway I'll install the rear bumper this week and will get the cracked front bumper fixed together. Just wondering how will u repair it? How much u charge? May consider for subsequent cracks (touch wood, touch wood.........) hehehe.

Juz kidding la... If u really need then PM me in future..... PU can be weld wif PU compound sticks.... if totally fibre juz used fibre to coat another layer on it lor.
If PU wif Fibre, I got special welding rods to do it....
How much... depends on mood... Joking...
