I just make a purchase for a used 120i coupe E82.
May I know where should I send it for a thorough check for a piece of mind?

I called them and asked what will be checked. The reply I was given "we check thoroughly".
I asked if engine n gearbox health will be checked he said no. I am puzzled.
Downtime is 1.5 days

Since you already purchased the car then I would suggest to go one of the workshops in site sponsor section. They be cheaper than PML and might give a better service

You may want to consider to seek the sponsor workshops for a second opinion.

I was referred by a friend to check it at "edg*".
Called the mechanic who told me it's free to do a check. Are such checks detailed or good enough?
