Recommend good glass cleaner

Hi, my two month old ride, front windscreen has those many many streak marks.

I tried Armour-all glass cleaner and even the pre-cleaner from a respectable brand but unable to clean these streaks...

Can anyone recommend a good brand (preferably non-ammoina - i.e. non-acidic as don't want to accidentally damage paintwork or plastics on the ride... thanks

Re: Recommend good glass cleaner

continue using what you have but try using newspaper instead to wipe. Put some elbow grease in while you are at it.

Re: Recommend good glass cleaner

Thanks!

Does anyone have this same problem?

Secondly, hopefully new ride from PML comes only with "clean" water washer... and not with "rain-x" type of addicitve as it is a known problem that such addicitive can make such streaks!

My elbows are skinny.. so will have to get some mancho, mancho man to help in this area....else kena blue black or tired muscles, you know..... we are "built" differently from man lah:)

i have those streaks as well. usually clean it with fresh clean water the moment the streaks form rather than let it settle for days.nonetheless under certain angles the streaks can still be seen. doesnt bother me that much to be honest. rather spend the time on other parts of the car, making it kim kim goot goot. next time u send it to your detailer just ask them to focus on those streaked areas.

Thanks! My car is already SUPER Duper Kim Kim goot goot, so that is why want to have "goot goot" windscreen:) :)

Re: Recommend good glass cleaner

i usually use auto glym glass polish first to remove the road grime then several layers of RAIN X.....works for me...and also maintainence of your wiper blades also help....

hope this helps...

Re: Recommend good glass cleaner

I will use Autoglym fast glass for quick wipe, autoglym glass polish for removing strek, clay bar to remove tough dirt and stain on glass..

Re: Recommend good glass cleaner

it wont help in removing those streaks with standard glass polish like Auto glym or the one from BMW/Zaino etc .these are are a combination of soap wax as well as hard water deposits. I use tile water spot remover available form handifix store. be careful to put some towel and avoid spilling on to the paint. rinse thoroughly after applying with a sponge( with gloves on) and wait for 2 minutes. most marks should go or become less conspicuous. Use this once in while not regularly. hope it helps
