To ride on the road, u need to be gungho & show ur presence. I usually ride in the middle of the left lane to force car to overtake on the right lane. Riding in a group would help also.

Riding in ECP is a bad idea especially week end. It is overcrowded.

If ur home is next to Park Connector, ride on these park connector. Not sure, juz drop me a note where u stay. I may know where is the nearest park connectors.

I am staying in the West. The nearest one is the Ulu Pandan connector. I have been trying to view the pdf map on NPark website for the past few days, but it seems to never load. Just checked again, seems to work now.

I think the park connector is the best solution for now without going to ECP. Of course I will avoid the weekend, i know its crowded there. Thanks for your information.

Since we already OT so much....

I wonder if there's any bros here who are doing their own bike servicing/upgrading? I just picked up this hobby and it's actually very fun and satisfying (if you get the stuff right!)... next step for me will be to build up my stamina and go for regular cycling at the nearby PCN with my newly built bike :)

For bros who may want some help on their old bikes, and don't mind that I may break it, just pm me and I will see if I can help to refurbish etc :) labour is free, but maybe 1 cup of teh-o ice will be bonus after completion... ;)

Your offer came a week late! I just serviced a 15 year old mountain bike which was collecting dust at home. Could have save some $$$$. Next time maybe i can hook up with you on it. Trying to learn more about DIY too.

Haha, sure sure... just pm me if you need any help, and hopefully I can :)

If you are serious about DIY, get yourself a book on Mountain/Road Bike maintenance for a start, as well as a good set of tools. The latter is important as using the wrong tools / sub-standard tools may damage your parts ;)

Re: Rear Bike Rack - 1 series hatchback

I do quite a lot of self maintenance at home. I even bought a Park Tool bike stand for that. If u buy bike from my friend (from customer, we become friend over time), he would encourage his customer to DIY at home especially simple thing (like change punctured tube).

Haha, after investing enough $$ and time and gain enough brownie points....

I think DIY will also help to understand the bike better. will do that.

Yes, you are right... by going the DIY route, you will get to know the bike better and appreciate it!

Let us know if you need any help/advice :)
