Rather Loud Crusing(Humming Sound) noise!

Hi! I experienced rather audible cruising sound from the tire. It's like humming sound. Complaint to PML & they had my rear wheel bearing repleced. The front one, they said it's ok. However, not much improvement. My E46 is fitted with 17' BBS rim with 215/45 directional tyres. PML said it is due to the tyres. Anyone can advice? Thanks!

what mileage are you at now??? normally, for wheel bearings, they go at about 100000km i think... some of us here experience this kind of wear at 50-60k km though...

Re: Rather Loud Crusing(Humming Sound) noise!

Wheel bearing replacement is common on E46, especially when it's more than 3 years.

Check with outside workshop as I remembered that the labour for replaceing wheel bearing in PML is about $500.....

My mileage is abt 74,000. Could it be the front bearing also worn? or it's the tyres that ia the culprit? Kindly advice! Thanks!
