Preowned BMW 318i

Hello everyone!! I intend to buy a 5 years old preowned bmw 318i but I heard that the turbo has a known issue that needs replacement. May I know is that true? Thank you so much in advance!!

Hi I am f30 owner n ride coming to 7 years. I needed to change my turbo at the end of 5th year. Was quoted 5.5k to change at pml n went to outside workshop to change at 5k. Do also look out for radiator issues after the 5th year. I noticed that I had to change quite a number of parts after the 5th year( see my post on the change of turbo assey)
