hmmm, thats funny, you wanted red and am afraid of being in the car, then if you buy a ferrari how? haha, red too hot for you to handle? its black with terracotta interior? i think thats partially because all your previous cars are all in darker colors hence the red might put you off, terry is perv because he is lonely, come unker i chit chat with you, so you will not be so bored and not as perv anymore. hehs.

love,
rochelle.

i wanted red but i think its too bright of a color for me especially in sg where these cars are rare.. i dont like people staring at my car.. thats why i got a porsche and not a Ferrari or lambo. i wouldnt get a Ferrari till im much much older.. if i go to Ferrari now what am i gonna switch to in the future hehe. i got black on grey (the grey looks the same as black but softer leather) as you can only choose either black or grey for the interior.. a little boring so i got red stitching.. (WHICH IS RETARDED as it costs 12k!)

what a pity they have only black/grey for interior, but porsche definitely got very lush interior designs. the type of cars your driving is for people to admire, hehs, a lil of attention doesnt kill right? quite true, you go to these cars too fast, you might end up having to fly a jet to get satisfaction, hur hur. 12k for red stitching! gosh, it has better be hand stitched or something top top top of the range. hehs. cant wait to see your ride. thinking about the long wait is sure worth it. this car is gonna be ravishing.

love,
rochelle.

Gratz on the GT2. Even van Overbeek the RSR ALMS driver, when he drove this car, he was staggered at the performance of this car -as street car on the track, it was the ultimate 911 and ultimate porsche to him. Even taking the CGT into consideration.

Re: Porsche owners in bmw-sg

thanks :) hows ur cayman s? any mods done to it?

Re: Porsche owners in bmw-sg

mine's the Cayman 2.7.

No mods except for a set of light Champion rims with max perf summer street tyres on it, and pagid orange pads. Hitting 2:51 now targeting 2:45. Once I hit 2:45 in goes the brembo 4 potters.

afraid that if I put any handling mods on it the car improves but not me.

6 seconds off you'll have to work hard but u seem like u love driving so im sure u'll be fine.. if u put handling mods it would be better, you'll force urself to drive harder since you know that your car can handle much better and it will give u alot more confidence in your car. just practice a bit on sg roads hehe...

Re: Porsche owners in bmw-sg

Actually I'm having the greatest confidence in the car under traction control on and I'm driving maxxed out, and I'm told I can take a whole chunk off if I release TC at (I think) turn 4,7,8,9,14 and for 15 if TC off I probably can achieve a more optimal slip angle. I'm underdriving at turn 12 too. There's where I intend to make some time.

I don't have a problem with the confidence in the car's handling but I need more track time really. I'm sure you've driven the Cayman and you've seen that at stock settings that car is idiot proof.

i've never actually driven a cayman, the only porsche's i've driven are the (996) turbo, (997) turbo, (997) GT3RS. and all of them are iddiot proof really with tc on (with the possible exception of the rs.. im gonna have a hard ass time driving with tc completely off in the gt2 probably will just turn the sc off and leave the rest on.. rear engine rear wheel drive is a killer man.. thats why i wanted one hehe.. love a great challenge. i havent been to sepang in ages.. gotta relearn the circuit.. i'll definitely be going to all the trackdays though. im sure i'll see u there trying hard too hehe..

Re: Porsche owners in bmw-sg

yeah seems to me that your GT2 can desync TC and SC like the F430 Scud, you can switch off one or the other. Other Porsche and Ferraris can't I think.

Maybe better to switch off TC but still enable SC. That way won't buang so easy.

Slightly off topic but since this thread is likely to be read by Porsche owners, thought would like to take this chance to market my wares which were left over after I sold my Boxster S.
