Painting Crome Grills

Don't think anyone has done them in body colour. I've painted mine to matt black.

Whether it looks nice... err, should think so since I had them black grills for more than 1 yr :) If u decide to paint the chrome grills to any other colour, remember to ask the workshop to sand it down 1st before painting them whatever colour so that the rough surface would allow the paint to adher to it better!

I have been delaying for abt 6 mths. Wanted to do it long ago but dnt have the time n cnt leave my car there for the whole day :( I went to ask but was told ned a whole day to b completed! Will go n do it soon....

Really har? Alvin, u ask them to change from Chrome to 24k Gold Plated?? Kekekeke! :)

Just drive around without grills loh! Go to workshop 1st thing in the morning, drop off grills and then go straight to office... No one will see lah! :thumbsup:
 
just leave the grills there lah.. why need your whole car. at the most, leave your bonnet there, talc the engine bay and drive off. super cool import tuner mod. hahahah

Or chiam see tong with some other bro's spare grill while yours are being resprayed lor. ;)

Have not seen any local rides synchronising their kidney grill's colour with their ride. But e46fanatics has shown plenty of US bimmers who have done that.

I have followed Sam's footstep and painted it black. Adds a hint of masculinity to your ride.

The colour and theme of your ride plays a big part. For instance, black or CF grills on coupe looks damn fierce.

Its too ex leh... unless your headlight trim, splitters, rear difuser, blah blah blah all CF then get it... but i think that DIY is best! :)

how much will it cost to spray and to buy it brand new?i also keen. look damn fierce. ha
 
If u DIY, it'll be the cost of your spray can... don't think its much though...

Buying it, u gotta check with Wilson.
