Dunno the ans. But I think they have a larger compound. The one at Science Discovery Centre that we went to was an improvised site. Not even meant for paintball in the first place. Also, heard if u kena shot at the Orchid one, confirmed cry father cry mother. U can no longer say: "I kena meh?" coz I heard the bullet there not very forgiving. Very painful one. I also hope for better support from the ground staff with lesser IA.... know what I mean?

think may go back here. i know orchard has better weapons. but from what i heard - you need to stay in your own half of the field - cannot creep up behind people and shoot them.
anyway, i didnt really have a prooblem with jamming. just need to do IA drill regularly to make sure you have a paintball round seated in the chamber. and full auto is just a nono.

Have to concede that weapons is a major complaint at Crossfire. Fed back to Jasmine on that, but she claimed SDC wanted the AR15 to give more feel. I would be inclined to try Orchid CC to relive the more powerful topload guns. But like you'd said, the set back will be the lack of close-quarter contacts.

Might not be a bad idea to combine 2 car clubs for the fun. Bigger turnout. But weapon constraint - SDC Crossfire does not have enough AR15s for 10 vs 10 scenario. 5 vs 5 and you will have to wait whole day. Lemme check on Orchid CC.

But, check out their guns. .68 Tipmann Carbine with 200-round topload magazine. Effective range 170 plus feet. Going to be painful, but fun.
And yes, no close-quarter encounter because they will not allow teams crossing over to the other side.

$15 entrance, minimum purchase 1,000 rounds ($250). For 10 pax, works out to be $40 per pax with 100 rounds each.
Extra paintballs:
50 paintballs = $25 (50 cents average)
100 paintballs = $40 (40 cents average)
200 paintballs = $60 (30 cents average)
1000 paintballs (1/2 box)* = $250 (25 cents average)
2000 paintballs (1 box)* = $400 (20 cents average)
* Can do group buy. Below 1000 rounds cannot share.
If we are going, I suggest after CNY, since many of us depends on our looks for a living.

OCC you have to run back to your base to recharge your life too. And at that compound I think you'll confirm get shot at least once or twice.
The game play is as follows.
Shoot 2-3 target boards on the opposing teams area.
After that the mission would be to retrieve an empty ammo box.
Game lasts for 5-10 mins or until box is retrieved.
The grounds are grassier so it'll be easier to do stunts.
