On off switch behind glove box

Hi guys I have a on off switch behind the glove box on the passenger side that looks like the attached picture.

Anyone know what it does? View attachment 59640

Is it standard or is it something the previous owner left? It is currently in the off position.

I think it should be fitted by the previous owner as i do not see it in my E90. Better get it checked out just in case its those fuel tamper switch which may result in you getting into the trouble with law if you pass customs.

That sounds serious... I will turn it on tmr to see if it does anything to the fuel meter.

may be on/off switch for camera if the owner did not have a "power magic" to cut the power

Its actually not a bmw specific switch. So wa... can be anything.

If i had one in my car i would want the front passenger eject button... for noisy controlling passengers. Hmmmm...

You can code it whatever way you want. I dun have a wife... or need one.

So anyone who sits in the passenger seat(s) who tell me how to drive... will be eligible.

ok guys, found out what it is... lol

The previous owner installed a (juicebox)/(Powerbox) kind of device. That switch is to turn it on and, lol. And we thought that it could eject noisy passengers...

Well....

Since the switch is there and if the juicebox is not there anymore... you can still use it for that. Haha. I wanna install one... for the future.

before i sell my car i will install alot of switches as well... some behind glovebox, some under driver seats and some under steering wheel.. let the next owner wonder...
