Hi, not sure is this posted before. I am looking for an used black / black(grey) 5 series but the market have either the external black or interior black only. So is it worth to get it and then respray or re-upholstery the exterior/interior to what I want?

what's the point of getting something that you don't really like???????? pay money to suffer??? Don't flame me...........just my opinion..........

No need to rush....the right car usually won't pop up that soon...haha
Remember it's not abt aesthetics only, make sure u dun end up with a problematic car

Then I am fortunate. Mine is 3-series black on black. Now I know it is rare... :)

Re: Not happy with interior/exterior color

It's always worth spending money for things you like. Ac323 spent a lot of money to make sure his car has no roof

Re: Not happy with interior/exterior color

yup. A matter of time.

When I first saw the E60 LCI, I told myself one day I would like to have one of this Alpine white , this interior colour, this rim, this soft close, etc etc.

The exact car was in front of me 3 years later in PPSL. That day, without asking my wife, I signed the papers.

Nothing beats walking to the car every morning and the sight from twenty feet away.....

Life is short....

I like ur answer and will listen to ur advice. First thing for sure is the engine then the color. Saw a few nice black but the interior is a bit disappointed. That is why thinking of re upholster it. Thanks.

If you can afford it and u love it, don't ever let others tell u otherwise

Re: Not happy with interior/exterior color

well, if u get a well-conditioned car, engine and stuff ok and paint still good condition and whatever color u want....hopefully can knock a few ks off the pricing and use it for upholstering.....

buying car is usually a considered a big ticket items for most ordinary folks and the worse thing to get is a lemon car.....imagine going to workshop every now n then.....probably can respray or upholster the car many times with the money spent on repairs....:yummie:

Yup. Some things can hit-and-run.

Most things.... I am the boss; she is only the decision maker.
